Kiwanis Club of Scranton

The Kiwanis Club of Scranton is part of a worldwide service organization of more the 300,000 members in over 77 countries. The parent Kiwanis International was established in 1915 and Scranton Kiwanis was the 111th club to be chartered on April 18, 1917.

Since April of 1917, the Kiwanis Club of Scranton has been helping the people of Northeast Pennsylvania, as well as many local social and charitable agencies with both personal and financial support. While accomplishing these goals, the Club is also allied with Kiwanis International as part of the global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.

The Scranton Kiwanis Foundation is the 501(c)(3) non-profit arm of the Kiwanis Club of Scranton and is incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All charity funds raised by the Club are deposited in designated accounts in the Foundation. All donations, memorials and funds raised are tax deductible and deposited in the Foundation.
